Our teen volunteers have an important role to play in the success of Artworth each year. Many of our teen volunteers are former Artworth campers and know first-hand how much fun making art is. The teen volunteers are an important support for the artists and the children.
If you are personable, able to interact with younger children in a positive and supportive way and are interested in making art then please consider joining the Artworth team.
Artworth is proud of its leadership program for teen volunteers and requires that all volunteers participate in a two-day program the week preceding the camp.
- The first day is facilitated by a leadership development trainer to orient everyone to the program, develop a common understanding of the roles and expectations as well as build experience as a team.
- The second day is spent training with our artists to help you cultivate the skills needed to best support our artists and bring out the creativity in the campers and yourself.
It’s fun and it’s free! AND while volunteering at Artworth you can accumulate community hours for your high school requirement, as well as build a credible start to your resume.
