ARTWORTH
 Trent Hills’
Children’s Art Camp

Celebrating Canada’s 150!

Welcome to ArtWorth’s

12th year!

This year ArtWorth runs from July 10th to July 21st, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.  We are inviting kids to join us in celebrating Canada both new and old. Come explore our rich history through art, discover our  present through movement, and create lasting friendships while finding out what makes each of us Canadian. We encourage young artists to stretch their imaginations with guidance from our artists. Connect to Canada through  pottery, videography, mural painting, percussion, storytelling, nature, installation art, creative movement and more. We are pleased to announce that we will be spending a day at the McMichael Gallery where we can get to know Canadian art up close, participate in active programming, and work with one of our own artists. Whether you’re a new camper or old, you come for art, movement, or to see friends, you will leave with a family!

ArtWorth is Trent Hills’ first art camp for kids aged 7 – 13 years.  Professional artists continue to create a quality experience for your children. We provide a caring, fun, safe place for kids to learn and express themselves through the arts. Our home base is in Warkworth, Ontario.

Artworth wishes to thank the ongoing support of our sponsors: the Warkworth Community Service Club, and the Campbellford Seymour Community Foundation.  We also wish to thank the ongoing support of St. Paul’s United Church, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and Spirit of the Hills Northumberland Hills Arts Association.  This year we are proud to include Westben Arts Festival Theatre in our list of special thanks.  And lastly, but definitely not least, thank you to all those who have supported our bursary program.

We also extend a big thank you to Diane Dudley, Michelle Adams, John Delacour, Christopher Thorpe, and Vanessa Oakley for many of the current photos on this website.

Artworth is the proud recipient of the Cultural Award of Merit from the Trent Hills 2013 Civic Awards!  We couldn’t have done it without all the contributions of our artists, teen volunteers, adult volunteers and of course your fabulous artistic kids!
